Making An Impact With United Way

Each year, the United Way Greenheck Group Employee Network (GEN) brings our core values to life by strengthening the communities where team members live and work. The network’s mission is simple but powerful: to improve the health, education, and financial stability of our neighbors through United Way’s central Wisconsin programs.

Our impact for United Way of Marathon County in 2025 came to $700,681, a 7.2% increase since 2024. Since 2018, Greenheck Group has proudly received the Circle of Excellence Platinum Award, a recognition given for campaigns surpassing $500,000 each year. These contributions come from team member giving through payroll deductions, special events, and corporate donations.

One of our events, the annual Charity Golf Classic, teed off in August, raising more than $100,000 to support programs that provide essential resources throughout Marathon County.

“Through United Way, I’ve met incredible individuals who are genuinely driven to create positive change. That spirit of service and community is what defines us. It reflects who we are and what it means to live our values every day,” said United Way GEN team member Mike Bump.

Beyond fundraising, the GEN creates hands-on opportunities for Wisconsin team members to give back. From assembling 600 laundry kits for local families to filling nine boxes of pasta for the Lottsa Pasta Drive and 300 pairs of shoes for the Community Closet, each effort builds connection and compassion.

Every event, donation, and volunteer hour is a reminder that when we unite as one, we build a stronger, more resilient community for all.
