Greenheck Group’s Rooftop Unit (RTU) business unit on the Tulsa campus is leading the way in our enterprise-wide Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation — a major milestone in our ongoing investment in people, process, and technology.
MES helps us track every part of the production process, connecting our production floors with real-time data. As a new business unit, RTU began operations with MES already in place and functional from day one. This gives the RTU team better visibility into performance, quality and workflow efficiency, empowering our team members to make quick, informed decisions every day.
MES will play a critical role into not just RTU’s future but the company’s overall growth, opening the door to future capabilities that drive efficiency and innovation. One example is machine downtime tracking. As production volume increases, MES will flag early signs of potential trouble so our team members can fix issues before equipment fails—reducing unplanned downtime and keeping operations running smoothly. This is a game-changer for our team members and serving our customers.
While RTU is the first BU to go live, the work extends far beyond one location. Our MES team is already hard at work preparing the next business units for implementation. Each rollout will build on the lessons and successes from those prior, creating a foundation for a more connected and consistent manufacturing network across Greenheck Group.
At its core, this project is about empowering our people. By simplifying tasks, standardizing best practices, and providing clear insight into daily operations, MES allows our teams to focus on what they do best: producing industry-leading products with precision and pride.
