Answering The Call

At Greenheck Group, safety isn’t just a priority, it’s part of who we are. That’s why more than 250 team members across our locations volunteer as part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

Emergency situations can happen in seconds, and every moment matters. The sooner a team member can receive medical treatment for a small cut to a diabetic emergency, the greater the chance they have at a faster recovery. And that’s why our ERT members undergo regular training in CPR, AED use, first aid, scene safety, and triage for conditions like heart attacks, strokes, allergic reactions, and heat-related illnesses.

For team members like Adam Hall, being part of the ERT for more than 11 years is about more than just skills.

“It is a good feeling having the know-how to save someone’s life, or even helping with day-to-day injuries,” Adam said. “I hope my coworkers feel more comfortable at work, knowing there are emergency medical responders (EMRs) to help at any time.”

Launched in the 1990s, the Greenheck Group ERT is more than a program; it’s a commitment to each other. Every volunteer, whether they’ve been serving for decades or just recently joined, plays a vital role in creating a safer workplace for all of us.

Oklahoma production supervisor Rita Carreno has served on the ERT for four years. She said she joined because of her medical experience and her desire to support her teammates.

“It’s nice knowing the team can count on me if they need any help,” said Rita, who inspired her sisters – and Greenheck Group teammates – Nancy and Ana to join the ERT, too.

Our first responders embody calm in chaos, care in crisis, and courage under pressure. They are a great reminder to all of us that people come first at Greenheck Group.
