In January, Greenheck Group hosted its first ever all-women’s HVAC University, welcoming 36 women from across the HVAC industry for two days of technical learning, collaboration, and meaningful connection. The event brought together Greenheck sales representatives and their customers, creating a shared educational experience designed to strengthen both technical expertise and industry relationships.
At first glance, this kind of event may look like a specialized training, but it reflects something much bigger: our commitment to strengthening the future workforce of our industry. Manufacturing and HVAC continue to face a well-documented talent shortage. To remain competitive and continue delivering for our customers, our industry must attract, develop, and retain the very best. Creating an inclusive, supportive environment for women in HVAC helps ensure we are drawing from the widest possible pool of capable, motivated people.
A defining element of the university was its all-women presenter lineup from across our company. Attendees earned Professional Development Hours (PDH), reinforcing our commitment to providing education that is both meaningful and practical.
Events like this also strengthen our customer relationships. By learning side by side, Greenheck sales representatives and consulting engineers build trust and credibility. That trust translates
directly into stronger partnerships and long-term business stability.
For our team members, the impact is broader than a single event. When we support the growth of skilled individuals across the industry:
Our first all-women’s HVAC University demonstrates how intentional education and inclusion initiatives can help strengthen the manufacturing industry. As HVAC continues to evolve, events like this remind us that progress is driven not only by innovation and technology, but by people, and by creating opportunities for everyone to succeed.
