Fume Exhaust and Tubular Inlines (FETI) business unit recently completed a very unique project requiring four large Vektor-CD fans in stainless steel construction. While FETI is still growing, it’s clear the products and deliverables are in high demand!
Four Vektor-CD-54 and two Vektor-CD-33 fans are replacing old, corroded FRP centrifugal vent set fans at the UTMB Galveston Keiller Lab Building located in Galveston, Texas.
The Keiller Laboratory Building houses their Department of Pathology and was built in 1925. It houses the internationally known World Health Organization Collaborating Center for Tropical Diseases and the Center for Biodefense and has recently been renovated. Upgrading their fans was a huge priority, and Greenheck Group was able to assist in this major undertaking.
The manufacturing and shipping of this massive order required about two weeks to complete in plant 1030. And while there were challenges, our engineering, laser programming and assembly teams found solutions through teamwork to meet our customer’s required delivery dates.
The FETI production and sales teams worked hard with our customers to meet their every need in the process. With onsite discovery, design assist, multiple fan model selections, and competitive bidding, our team went above and beyond to provide quality and excellence that we are known for.
