On any given day at Greenheck Group, teammates are collaborating across plants, offices, and job sites — but you’ll also find team members doing great work from home. Remote work helps our company broaden access to talent, and helps many of our teams increase collaboration across the organization. At the same time, remote work can shrink the small moments that help us feel connected: the locker room hello, the quick laugh after a meeting, the casual “how’s it going?” between tasks.
That’s where the Remote Network comes in. Remote Network is one of our Greenheck Group Employee Networks (GENs) built to help remote workers stay connected to the company and to one another through learning, community, and a steady rhythm of events that make distance feel smaller. Some days that connection looks like holiday party (for those who otherwise don’t have one to attend with coworkers) and a spinning prize wheel that ends with smiles. Other days, it’s a relaxed mixer where conversation starters help strangers become familiar faces.
And the Remote Network isn’t only about fun (though we’re big believers that fun matters in the workplace). It’s also about growth. When we hosted “AI at Greenheck Group,” team members tuned in to learn practical ways to work with new tools and sharpen the skill of asking better questions. Later, our Spring Skill Swap turned the spotlight on members themselves — short presentations, useful tips for productivity, and a chance to learn something new from a colleague you might not otherwise meet.
Remote Network keeps listening to our members and adapting by using feedback and planning surveys to shape what comes next. If you’re remote or hybrid, you’re invited: join the network, bring an idea, attend an event, or even step into a GEN leadership role. Because no matter where we work from, we’re still one team.
